Even before the official opening of his pop-up store in Presikhaaf, I was drawn in by the many cheerful and colorful works by Paskie Rokus. It was an unexpected and spontaneous encounter with the artist and his art.

I said, “I want to do this too, can you teach me?” Not long after, we were sitting in my makeshift studio for our first lesson.

Actually, I thought my whole life that I couldn't draw or paint. My interest in painting only developed in recent years. I experiment with color, form, and technique, and I learn as I go. In my own way and at my own pace.

During a two-hour session, Paskie gave me some great tips that I was able to put into practice right away. It's great to receive personalized advice like this, tailored to my needs.

I will continue to challenge and develop myself and will certainly ask for Paskie's guidance more often.

Paskie is also a nice person. I find that last point just as important.
